On the morning of March 17th, Victoria Sethunya’s family was raided by ICE (Immigration & Customs Enforcement). Victoria has spent the last nine years fighting to stop her own deportation, due to a clerical error with her student records at Weber State (you can read more about that here).
Luckily, Victoria was released, but her son Christopher is still being held in detention and told he will be deported to Lesotho. Christopher qualifies, and had applied, for DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), but Immigration Services is now saying that they did not receive some required paperwork. Victoria, however, has a receipt from when the papers were sent using certified mail! Utah wants to deport Christopher over yet another clerical error!
Victoria has a lawyer who is filing a motion to reopen Christopher’s case, but the family needs help covering the legal costs.

You can also call ICE at (801) 886-7400 and tell them to release Christopher (his A# is 205324633) and halt his deportation.
