This spring, join Peaceful Uprising to stop tar sands mining and refining in Utah. A local grassroots movement is growing and we need your your help to:
- Document the destruction of the remote Tavaputs Plateau.
- Plan creative actions to advance local campaigns for breathable air and climate justice.
- Learn community organizing and direct action skills.
Housing and some meals will be provided. To pay for the costs of Spring Break, we ask for a sliding scale of $20-$300 per person.

If your spring break dates do not line up with March 9-15, but you are still interested in coming to Utah, please be in touch. The campaign is on-going and we can set up individual internships.
