Jamila Raqib of the Albert Einstein Institution comes to Utah, April 12-13

Jamila Raqib, Executive Director of the Albert Einstein Institution and assistant to Dr. Gene Sharp, is coming to Salt Lake City for a series of talks as part of the Pathways to Peace series.

Dr. Gene Sharp is considered a world expert on global nonviolent struggle, Nobel Peace Prize nominee and subject of the film “How to Start a Revolution.”

Topic: “Nonviolent Struggle: Past Use and Future Potential”
at Hinckley Institute of Politics (255 Orson Spencer Hall), University of Utah

Followed by an open house that evening, with an informal discussion of her recent trip to Afghanistan at Blue Star Juice Bar & Coffee Cafe (2795 South 2300 East) from 7-10PM.
