Peaceful Uprising is a group committed to defending a livable future through empowering nonviolent action. Our focus is on changing the institutional and social status-quo that is at the root of the climate crisis.

There are many different ways to get involved with Peaceful Uprising. Our group is committed to empowering the people, who too often feel like they are voiceless and powerless in a system run amok. By taking direct and effective actions, we enable the people to have influence once more over decisions that affect their daily lives. The most empowering thing you can do with PeaceUp is to sign up for our Action Team email list, then show up to actions!

I am a freelance photographer who would like to attend the event/court action demonstration when it happens – as a photographer. I specialize in landscape, but also like documenting street action. I would appreciate any assistance and practical advice you might be able to give me in this regard (for possible press badge restrictions etc etc)
