Posted on March 18, 2010 | 3 CommentsAs part of the national Fossil Fools Day of Action, Peaceful Uprising will be coordinating a legal and peaceful event to target Kennecott Copper's coal-fired power plant--one of the larger point sources of air and climate pollution in the Salt Lake Valley. All who care about the air quality on the Wasatch Front are invited to come and show that we the people are willing to make strong demands to preserve our health from the foolish burning of fossil fuels.
