Lakota people resolve to use direct action to stop TransCanada’s Keystone XL tar sands pipeline

District 5 Representative Tatanka Agliwin–Robin Lebeau–a Lakota woman from the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation, describes her people’s commitment to using direct action to stop the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline.

Agliwin, other Lakota, indigenous allies and other allies received direct action training at the third Moccasins on the Ground training camp in June 2013.
