Will someone post more information on the exact legality of this case, and what his lawyers are doing to appeal this ruling? Who should we address letters to?
Tim
You won. It’s their Law, but Justice is ours. Well done.
You are the point guy of the environmental direct action movement at the movement. Enjoy it ‘cos it won’t last long, their are too many people with too much passion out there and someone’s going to come up with an action that even tops yours for soon, I’m sure.
I’m going to wrote about the case for the next issue of Pentacle. It’s a magazine for the British pagan community, but I’m sure we can get a copy sent across the pond.

so—– is there going to be an appeal? then maybe all the facts can be presented to a jury of peers!!!!
I have written the White House — what are they doing????
Please let Tim know he has support.
The thing I find the most interesting about this whole trial, as I understand the details, is that Tim was NOT vetted by the people running the auction that day. Thus they BROKE THEIR OWN LAW, by letting him into the auction without confirming that he had the money to bid, and that he represented an organizatio nor business. Thus making the auction itself illeagal. And Tim raised the money that was required to make the deposit on the bids and was told that the Government would not accept the money. There is also some gray area on the intial legality of the auction in the first place.
