“Direct action” is a loaded term. What does it mean, how is it used in the real world, and why is it necessary? We will be answering those questions Friday evening:
Joshua Kahn Russell is the Grassroots Actions Manager for energy and climate at Rainforest Action Network. He is also an action strategy trainer with the Ruckus Society.
Scott Parkin is a peace, environmental and global justice organizer and community college history instructor. Since 2006, he has worked as an organizer for the Rainforest Action Network – organizing campaigns against Bank of America, Citibank, TXU and Wells Fargo Bank.
